7 Days To Die, Test Your Survival Skill!

     7 Days to Die is a survival horror video game set in an open world developed by The Fun Pimps. It was released through Early Access on Steam for Microsoft Windows and OS X on December 13, 2013. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were released in June 2016 through Telltale Publishing.

     The game's events happen after a nuclear Third World War that destroyed an extremely large part of the world, except for some areas such as the fictional county of Navezgane, Arizona. The player is a survivor of the war who must survive by finding shelter, food and water, as well as scavenging supplies to fend off the numerous zombies (hinted to be the consequence of nuclear fallout) that populate Navezgane. Though there is no real objective except surviving at this moment, the developers hinted at a possible storyline that will be added in future updates.

     In 7 Days To Die, the player spawns into a randomly generated world or the preset world of Navezgane, Arizona, with the objective of surviving for as long as possible. As the days go by, the zombies get tougher and more aggressive. The game features the ability to craft, destroy, and manipulate objects. The game also comes with a physics system in which building a structure with no support such as pillars and walls can lead to its collapse. The game is voxel-based, allowing for simple building, and destruction of objects in a physics-simulated environment.

The game's main focus is to have the players try to survive the night, as the game features a day and night cycle, making the zombies slow and weak during the day, yet fast and aggressive during night-time. The game features a system in which the character constantly needs food and water. Objects in the world degrade through use, so the player has to search for or make new tools as the game progresses. The player can build their own house or destroy existing ones in order to gather materials to construct a fort. The game also features a stealth and distraction system to avoid unnecessary conflict with the zombies. Carrying raw meat or foods that have a smell means the zombies can detect the player. The zombies in 7 Days to Die will climb, dig, destroy walls, doors to get to the player and kill them. The player needs to set up traps for the defense of his or her base in order to survive.

Multiplayer

     Multiplayer is available through player-hosted servers and enables multiple players to interact and communicate with each other on a single world. Interactions can be cooperative or hostile depending on the used server options. Players can run their own servers or use a hosting provider. Single player worlds have local area network support, allowing players to join worlds on locally interconnected computers without a server setup. Players are also able to provide Wide Area Network support via single player worlds. 7 Days to die Servers can run on both consoles, Windows and Linux. There are two supported game modes for multiplayer: Survival (both randomly generated and standard) and Creative.

     7 Days To Die is a survival horror game that still in development. Right now, 7 Days To Die is still on Alpha Version. But in this Alpha , this game already show us that 7 Days To Die is the best Zombie-Survival-Horror game right now. Even thought the graphics still in it's development, but after Alpha 15 release, the terrain of the 7 Days To Die's world has become 10x way better than alpha 14, Because Alpha 15's world is generated randomly, including the mountain's height. And also Alpha 15's world has become more colorized than before.

     In most of Survival-Horror games (Like Unturned), we are supplied with lots of ammo, and weak zombies, which made us completely invicible to zombies (except you're a noob), and it's like we're surviving againts other people, not zombies. In 7 Days To Die, the map (Random Gen) is a borderless map, which has no end in the map. It's so difficult to meet with other players, but the zombies is everywhere. It's also hard to find or create ammunitions. So most players will choose to save ammunitions for Day 7 horde instead of shooting other players. It's also easier to make friends with other stranger players since you need to survive together for achievements (Achievements Rule!).

     In 7 Days To Die Creative Mode, your job is only to build a base that can hold against the 7 day horde. Although it seems easy, the zombies's ability will make them get inside your base and kill you. Since there is Ranged attack zombie (Zombie Police), Superhard Zombie (Feral Zombie , Zombie Frozen Lumberjack, Zombie Bear), Climbing Zombie (Spider Zombie), Horde-Caller (Screamer Zombie. Note : In order to spawn a screamer zombie, you have to produce enough amount of heat (fireplace/forge/workbench)), Superfast Zombie (Zombie Dog), and Flying Zombie (Zombie Hornet). At night, all normal zombies and special zombies will have their running speed increased drastically.
     Beside from zombies, we also have another threat which is a bear. A normal bear. They won't attack you except you attack them first. Bear is one of the animal in 7 Days To Die, which you can loot their skin, meat, and fat if you kill them. But the other animal besides bear won't attack you, they will only run with a good speed which will make it hard to loot their goods. These animals are Deers, Pigs, Rabbits, and Chickens.
